Initiative #4: Spirit Week Coverage
Spirit Weeks are our greatest highlights and most spirited periods at Cupertino High School, where the students gather, attend football games and participate in special themed dress-up days. Spirit week posts do very well for us, garnering more likes, comments, and shares than any other posts that we share. One such example was Homecoming Week rallies in specific, in which our reporting on each of the five rallies captured the students' spirit and memories, as demonstrated through their class dances and skits. Such reporting not only drew in students to our profile for the first time but also accorded credits to the countless hands involved behind the week's festivities.

All Five Rallies
We provided extensive coverage of all five Homecoming rallies, each of which reflected the energetic spirit and creativity of our students. Our posts revealed the commitment of choreographers, dancers, and student leaders who spent countless hours of preparation to make each show memorable. The level of engagement among our followers demonstrated just how well-liked these events are in the community.
Pink-Out Game
The Pink-Out football game is an annual event that excites the student body simultaneously raising awareness for breast cancer. Our post documented the highlights both on and off the field, from impressive plays to the energized student section decked out in pink. The post received significant attention and reflected the strong unity and cause behind the tradition.

Spirit Days
During the week, themed spirit days provided students with an enjoyable opportunity to showcase their personalities and foster a sense of community on campus. We recorded ensembles from each day, including pajama day and class color day, highlighting the creativity and excitement that made the week unforgettable. The diverse imagery in these posts enhanced the storytelling in our feed.
